Provided EAI consultancy and was the onsite lead for BP Pvt. Ltd in London for the Nerefco plant implementation as a part of the strategic Process Fitness program. This involved designing a set of template interfaces in SAP XI. His responsibilities included requirements gathering, estimation, offshore co-ordination and testing.

GAP Inc, USA
Module lead (Dec 2005 to Jun 2006)

Managed specific modules within POS Requirement and Design project for GAP Inc (a specialty retailer). As a part of strategic reimplementation of their POS platform, EAI interfaces were needed for inventory transactions in IBM Websphere Message Broker. He was the Module Lead for a set of interfaces and his responsibilities included Analysis, Design and Testing of the interfaces

UBS AG Ltd, London
Functional Consultant (Nov 2004 to Dec 2005)

Was the lead consultant in the Change The Bank (CTB) team for enhancements to the Global Message Broker (GMB) in London for a period of one year. This involved extensive interaction with the UBS (business side), Microsoft (product side) and Infosys (solution side), often acting as a bridge in arriving at solutions.

Functional Consultant (May 2004 to Nov 2004)

Provided Functional Consultancy during complete end-to-end implementation of London Message Broker project (LMB) for UBS AG Ltd. (a global financial services firm). Microsoft BizTalk based solution was used for handling all incoming and outgoing SWIFT traffic to/from UBS London. His responsibilities included:

  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis
  • Estimation and co-ordination of User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Creation of functional test cases and design of an automated system testing pack.

SKILLS, TECHNOLOGIES & PROJECTS

  • EAI Technologies: SAP XI, IBM Datastage, Microsoft BizTalk, BEA Aqualogic Service Bus (ALSB)
  • Programming: C, C++, ASP, VB.NET, FORTRAN, LISP/Scheme, SQL, UNIX shell script (sh, ksh, csh), Perl, Python and 80X86 Assembler. Familiar with all major Unix development tools like make, RCS, CVS, gdb, gprof, lex, yacc.
  • Applications: VC++, Oracle 9i, Photoshop, Flash MX, GIMP, Emacs
  • Development of Risk Assessment Framework at TVS Finance & Services Ltd., Chennai - This project involved developing a Risk Assessment Framework for the expansion of TVS Finance into new territories within and outside Tamil Nadu. I used Discriminant Analysis to design a Geographical Risk Model and Launch Strategy Scorelist.
  • Developed a POS (Point of Sale) retail management system for billing and inventory management of a geographically dispersed Supermarket Chain programmed in C++ and Python, 2003, TAPMI
  • Designed a Managerial decision-making multiplayer game called “Quicksand” programmed in PHP and DHTML which was used in “Atharva” – A National-level Inter B-school event, 2004, TAPMI
